Abstract

We offer an interview with the Catalan architect Carme Pinós, in which she talks about architecture as a festive event linked to life. She identifies her projects, located in a wide variety of environments and on different scales, as a specific response to the context, placing special emphasis on the teamwork carried out by her studio. Through her designs she asserts the social commitment of the profession, prioritising it when she speaks about her role as a teacher, and calling for an active role by schools of architecture in its recovery.
