People + technology + city: the Constant project in connection with the 21th Century

Abstract
The technological advances achieved in the 21st century have created new forms of connection between citizens and urban space. To face this reality Constant guidelines are analysed. The Dutch artist developed his global city project, New Babylon, with the ideal of unitary urbanism, built with technology by citizens themselves following and endless creative game. Its validity as an expression of connection between citizens and their ability to transform the city with technology are verified in this article.
