The interpretation of an asset can be an excellent method to promote the intellectual and emotional connections between visitors and a garden’s history. Historical gardens are visited as much for their accessible infrastructure as for its recreational use and when visitors arrive with the intention of enjoying their free time, they are usually una ware of the garden assets. However, historical gardens offer far more than just outdoor leisure, accounting for the importance of strategies for interpretation and communication.
