20 years after the approval of the Special Programme of Planning and Protection of the Serra de Collserola, the objectives established with reference to the maintenance of the natural systems stability, the biodiversity and landscape preservation, the culture heritage conservation and the possibility of leisure and learning opportunities still prevails. In this context, environmental education becomes an integral part of management planning within the Park, an strategy to establish user group complicity in terms of preservation of a protected area set in the most populated region of the Mediterranean basin.
