Information For Authors
The European Journal of Government and Economics (EJGE) is an open-access international academic journal for peer-reviewed research on all aspects of government and economics. In particular, the EJGE publishes original research about the role of government and institutions in the economy and the economic analysis of policymaking.
The EJGE is indexed in Scopus, EconLit, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), MIAR, Dialnet and Latindex.
The EJGE is a biannual publication edited in A Coruña, Spain, by the Publication Service of the University of A Coruña (Servizo de Publicacións - Universidade da Coruña). It does not apply any article processing charges (APCs) or submission fees. The EJGE provides free and immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global knowledge exchange. All articles are licensed "Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International Public License (CC BY-NC 4.0)". This license lets others distribute, remix, tweak, and build upon articles, as long as it is not for commercial purposes and they credit authors for the original creation. Authors can archive pre-print and post-print or the publisher's version/PDF.
Submitted manuscripts judged to be of sufficient interest or quality undergo a double-blind peer-review process. The average time from submission to the first decision (excluding desk rejection) is about four months. The editorial team only invites resubmissions when there is a reasonable chance that a revised version of the article will be accepted at a later stage.
