Conservation of the Taquari River, Araguatins-TO: A comparative analysis of the environmental perception of riverside dwellers in three different communities

Abstract

Investigou-if no work is presented to environmental perception by two residents who reside on the banks of the Taquari River, in all its extension, as the environmental problems are observed and treated with resident hairs, understanding the importance that the banks attribute to the water resource, it has been or not interested in its conservation. A quantitative and qualitative exploratory field research was carried out. For the capture of two data, we use it as a fermentation of a questionnaire. Another municipality and important for the life of local biological communities, and in some areas a huge degradation in its margins, its extension is quite compromised. The community is concerned about the current situation of the river, and the future of the next gerações. Some residents maintain traditions of care as natural resources and preservations on the banks of the river. In addition, I do not exercise environmental conservation practice due to lack of knowledge related to environmental issues. I hope that or I contact them with their realities, contributing to the perception of new values ​​in the relationship between human beings and the environment.
