Abstract

New Technologies, and especially video games, are part of the daily life of children. The main objective of this study is to analyze whether the practice of physical activity can reduce the problems generated by the continued use of video games. To this end, a sample of 220 students was analyzed and their use of videogames was studied (through the Questionnaire of Experiences Related to Video Games), the weekly physical activity they performed and whether or not they were federated (through a sheet of self-registration). These data were also analyzed according to gender. Through the SPSS program, the levels of both variables and their relationship were studied. It is concluded that the practice of physical activity reduces the number of students without problems related to video games.
