Análisis del espacio de trabajo de un robot cuadrúpedo trepador

Resumen

En los últimos años, los incendios forestales se han intensificado, presentando una amenaza para el medio ambiente. Este estudio analiza un robot cuadrúpedo diseñado para caminar por entornos forestales y trepar árboles con el fin de colaborar en la extinción de incendios. El robot está compuesto por dos segmentos unidos mediante una articulación cilíndrica de actuación paralela y, en el presente artículo se estudia su espacio de trabajo cuando las patas traseras permanecen fijas al árbol. El espacio de trabajo se genera mediante la propagación de cada punto a sus vecinos con el método de Newton-Raphson. Para cada configuración, se evalúa el alcance de las patas delanteras mediante un muestreo aleatorio de los 7 GDL (de dicha articulación cilíndrica y de la pata), resolviendo para ello la cinemática directa. Este análisis confirma que el robot puede adaptarse a las irregularidades del tronco, garantizando una alta movilidad en entornos forestales complejos.
