Abstract

Human-robot interaction requires strategies that promote continuity and engagement with the user. This research presents a progressive leveled interaction system, implemented in the Mini social robot, that combines techniques such as gamification, persuasion techniques, and strategies that offer gradual support tailored to the user. Through a guided welcome sequence and combination of techniques, the system unlocks features and challenges tailored to the level of the user. The research also includes practical examples per level and discusses how these strategies improve continuity and bonding in real-life contexts.
