As a fishing collective that prepares the net from the choice of materials to the weaving of its mesh, we propose the creation of the Ocean Network: Environmental Education in Portuguese-speaking communities and countries. A space that aims to be a democratic network of communication, where there is the sharing and integration of knowledge. An initiative that is being designed to cover lusophones countries, regions and communities, officially or by linguistic and cultural identity. As an object of common interest, the Marine and Coastal Environmental Education constitutes a point of convergence for the participants. Initially its proposal was presented as a dialogue table at the VI International Congress on Environmental Education of Portuguese-speaking countries and communities and now its nodes are beginning to be intertwined for the weaving of a network based on dialogic communication within the scope of Lusophony.
