Abstract
This special issue of the Revista Latina de Sociologia (RELASO) brings together six articles derived from scientific papers presented at the 8th Ibero-American Congress of Qualitative Research (CIAIQ), held in Lisbon, Portugal, in July 2019. In line with the mission of RELASO, it is proposed to carry out from these articles a reflection on society and its constant structural transformation, and its impact on the lives of people, adopting different theoretical and philosophical perspectives supported by rigorous scientific research with a qualitative approach.
