Revista Galega de Filoloxía is pleased to announce that the call for papers for Issue 27 (2026) is now open. 

Extending its focus from linguistics, RGF now accepts submissions (articles, notes, reviews) on all aspects of culture and literature, particularly in relation to Galicia and Portugal. 

Authors are also invited to submit work for the special monograph supplement, entitled The Publishing Sector in Galicia since Autonomy (1978-2026) coordinated by Isaac Lourido and Roberto Samartim, which will comprise a maximum of eight essays. Possible topicsfor supplement submissions include: 

-Production, translation and tradition in Galician publishing 

-Public policies to promote reading and publishing in Galicia 

-Economics and industrialisation of publishing in Galicia 

-Internationalisation and foreign book trade 

-Institutionalisation and recognition (awards, events, etc.) 

-Education and the Galician publishing sector 

-Relationship between Galician publishing and literary criticism and historiography 

-Trends and repertoires in Galician publishing since autonomy (language, genre, agents, themes, etc.) 

Submissions must be original and written in Galician, Portuguese or English. Submissions in other languages will be considered by the Editorial Board and the supplement committee on a case-by-case basis. 

Submissions for both RGF Issue 27 and The Publishing Sector in Galicia since Autonomy (1978-2026) should be sent by 1 June 2026.
