A little known chapter in the dictionary studies: Lexicographical terminography. State of the matter and prospects

Abstract
The next research has a metalexicographical character, it takes the lexicographical speciality terminology as a study object and its final goal is to know the development of the referred studies to this lexical subset. Therefore, in the next pages we will approach the different thoughts on the terminography of the lexicographical discipline since the beginning to its most recent present.
This approach aims to take in all the weighings realized on this aspect of the lexicographical study. Thus, we have not only focused on the lexicography of Spanish ambit, but we have also included teminographical proposals realized in other languages: English, German, Polish or Norweggian. The integration of these proposals will guarantee, at least in part, the coherence and validity of the obtained conclusions.
