Abstract

This book revisits through many looks and perspectives, and by the hand of consecrated authors and with important research on the subjects treated, the sense of "written culture as constitutive of modern Europe and the Atlantic"in a time when political power is redefined, it is structured and tries, through the institutionalization of this culture, to legitimise itself before a nation that, for that very reason, will have to be literate.
