This work presents the design and implementation of a ground-based mobile platform equipped with sensors for measuring solar irradiance in agrivoltaic systems (AVS). The main objective is to analyze the spatial and temporal distribution of solar radiation in AVS, where photovoltaic panels generate partial shading that affects both crop growth and energy efficiency. These shadows are characterized by high variability, making it necessary to measure radiometric and agroclimatic variables at many locations across the field and at different times of the day and year. The platform, based on an ESP32-WROOM microcontroller and a mobile structure, will perform measurements at different points within the agricultural field, enabling the collection of a comprehensive dataset to optimize the combined agricultural and photovoltaic performance. In addition, the work includes the mechanical and electronic design of the platform, sensor integration, software development for control and monitoring, and data acquisition management.
