Inspección robótica autónoma para reconstrucción tridimensional de grandes estructuras espaciales

Resumen

El desarrollo de grandes estructuras espaciales, como centros de datos orbitales o estaciones espaciales, incrementa la necesidad de sistemas autónomos de inspección, mantenimiento y reparación. Actualmente, muchas de estas tareas dependen de interfaces estandarizadas, marcadores visuales o secuencias predefinidas, soluciones que pierden escalabilidad ante estructuras extensas, diversas o no preparadas para la inspección autónoma. En este trabajo se propone un sistema de inspección autónomo y sin marcadores, basado en la planificación de trayectorias envolventes alrededor de la estructura a analizar. Durante dichas trayectorias se realiza una captura multimodal RGB-T-D sincronizada, combinando información visual, térmica y de profundidad. Además, se evalúan distintas técnicas de reconstrucción 3D con el fin de seleccionar la más adecuada para su integración en el sistema propuesto. Los datos adquiridos se emplean para generar una reconstrucción geométrica tridimensional de la escena, orientada al diagnóstico posterior de fallos mecánicos y térmicos. Los resultados obtenidos muestran la viabilidad del enfoque propuesto para inspección robótica autónoma en entornos espaciales.
