Football is a popular sport that can impact foot health. Flat feet is a common condition that can affect athletic performance and increase the risk of injuries. Therefore, the objective of this research is to estimate the risk of musculoskeletal injuries associated with flat feet in under-16 football players. This study is observational, descriptive, and correlational, with a cross-sectional design. A total of 96 under-16 football players from two clubs in the Antioquia Football League, Palmazul and Forma Antioquia, were evaluated. Data were collected on sociodemographic variables, foot type, training characteristics, and injuries in the last year. The prevalence of flat feet was 56%, detected through surveys and observational analysis. The most frequent injuries were in the knee (27%), ankle (21%), and wrist (9.8%). No significant association was found between the presence of flat feet and injuries, nor with the study variables (height, weight, years of practice, etc.). Age was the only significant variable: for each additional year, the risk of injury increases by 46%. Athletes with flat feet had more knee and ankle injuries, while those without flat feet had a higher prevalence of ankle injuries.
