Abstract

This work presents an educational experience for teacher training in art education and art museums. It has been carried out with university students of the Degree in Early Childhood Education and the Degree in Primary Education of the University of Jaén in the subject of the educational values of the image and audiovisual narrative, with the case of the Museum of Jaén (Spain). It was carried out during the months of March and April 2023. The main objective of this work is to design a pedagogical structure for this training. The results present a pedagogy organised in three moments: a visit to the museum, a sharing and the elaboration of a visual cartography. The discussion of the results contributes to a didactic of the art museum in teacher training and at initial levels in art.
