Experiencias artístico-educativas entre universidad y museo

Abstract

There is a striking contradiction between the degree of consumption and production of images in the younger generations and the disconnection they show with their visual culture. For this reason, we consider it appropriate to offer quality learning situations to students in the education grades, which make possible a greater and better formation around their visual culture. With the aim of insisting on this need and improving the training of future teachers of infant and primary education, we generated the UVaMusEA teaching innovation project at the University of Valladolid.

We present a summary of its approaches, structure and work methodology, developed in specific projects through a multidisciplinary team, projects aimed at improving and enhancing the relationship between university classrooms and museums. We then delve into one of the specific projects developed during the 2021/2022 academic year and conclude by assessing the achievements and identifying the shortcomings that define the lines to be followed in future editions of the project.
