Metodología computacional para la estimación de temperaturas medias radiantes en interiores ocupados

El confort térmico es uno de los conceptos más importantes para garantizar la aceptación y el buen desarrollo de actividades por humanos en espacios de interior. El presente artículo trata el problema del cálculo automático de la temperatura radiante en un interior de un edificio como el factor más importante para determinar de forma empírica el confort térmico. La metodología presentada parte de la información proporcionada por un sistema de escaneado térmico omnidireccional, que es posteriormente procesada hasta obtener el deseado valor de la Temperatura Radiante Media (MRT). El artículo presenta la definición formal de MRT, las fases del procesamiento seguido y los resultados obtenidos en siete sesiones en las que se ha escaneado una sala ocupada por un número reducido de trabajadores. Los resultados indican que este método automático puede proporcionar ventajas en la rapidez, precisión e información de la escena frente a métodos manuales de cálculo.
