Estudio preliminar: engagement en arquitecturas de procesamiento paralelo a través del análisis de la familia de videoconsolas Sony PlayStation

Resumen

Este trabajo presenta los resultados preliminares de un proyecto de investigación educativa diseñado para analizar la influencia del compromiso escolar o engagement en la asimilación de contenidos dentro de la asignatura Sistemas Computadores de Altas Prestaciones, de tercer curso del Grado en Ingeniería Informática. Mediante el Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos y el estudio de casos histórico-tecnológicos, se propuso al estudiantado analizar la evolución de la familia consolas de videojuegos Sony PlayStation®. Los hallazgos iniciales revelan un alto nivel de participación y autonomía, así como una mejora cualitativa en las dimensiones conductual, cognitiva, afectiva y social del engagement estudiantil. Esta creciente implicación pone de relieve el potencial de las metodologías activas para optimizar el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje sobre arquitecturas informáticas complejas.
