Abstract
The book "Families, Gender and Education. Tradition and ruptures in modern and contemporary societies" delves into the study of the complex concept of family, its meaning over the past centuries and the relationships within it until the present. The work combines the historical analysis with proposals from the educational field and the didactics of the social sciences. In addition, all the contributions can be catalogued in the Women’s History studies or Gender studies. The text is serviceable for teachers or future teachers of various disciplines, as well as for those who research within the framework of the Social Sciences.
